Traditional Baci Ceremony: US$ 100.00 (1-5 people) - US$ 20.00 (for each additional person)

A Baci is a Laotian ancestral ceremony that celebrates special events such as a wedding, a homecoming, a birth or an annual festival.

The oldest and most traditional Laotian ceremony, it focuses on social and family bonds, forgiveness and renewal as well as paying homage to heavenly beings. The ritual includes the tying of holy cotton threads to bestow blessings.  It is believed to restore the natural order of the world and to bring communities closer together.

This ceremony is hosted by a senior village shaman. Special food and drink, prepared by the shaman’s family, is provided afterwards.
